Kitchen General Assistant
Hours of Post: 16.25 hours per week
Hours of Work: 10:45am to 2:30pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only plus 6 days (to be specified by school)
Salary Grade: NJC Scale 1, Point 3 (£12.45 per hour, however pending salary review)
Start Date of Post: Required for September 2025
We are seeking to appoint a General Kitchen Assistant to join our successful, ambitious team at Stockport School which is very popular and over-subscribed.
We are seeking a General Assistant who is self-motivated and reliable who has:
Experience of basic food preparation and service of food, working in a busy kitchen environment
Good organisational skills
Ability to communicate effectively, being a team player
Flexibility with hours if required
