Summary

Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO looking for a new challenge?

A specialist independent school located near Redhill is seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join our thriving team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people with special educational needs.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Demonstrable SENCO experience with a proven track record of effectively leading and managing SEND provision.

  • A deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

In this vital role, you will lead our Special Educational Needs department, working closely with staff, students, parents, and external agencies to ensure every student reaches their full potential. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our SEND strategy, overseeing assessments, and coordinating individualised support plans.
