Your new role
Startingin September, this is a full-time SEND teaching role on a temporary basis, witha strong likelihood of becoming permanent for the right candidate. You will beresponsible for delivering high-quality, differentiated teaching to smallgroups of students with diverse learning needs across Key Stages 1 & 2.

  • Planning anddelivering engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual EHCPs.
  • Creating apositive, inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional wellbeing andacademic progress.
  • Collaboratingwith teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider pastoral team.
  • Supportingpupils' communication, independence, and personal development.


What you'll need to succeed

  • QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
  • Experienceworking with children or young people with SEND, either in a mainstream orspecialist setting.
  • A creative,flexible, and nurturing approach to teaching and learning.
  • Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills.
  • A DBS on theUpdate Service or willingness to apply for one through Hays.
  • Experience withMakaton, PECS, or other communication strategies is desirable but notessential.
