Summary
Job Title: Cleaning and Environmental External operative Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour + Discretionary performance related bonus scheme. Contract Type: Full Time Type of Employment: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week Location: White Rose Shopping Centre, Dewsbury Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, LS11 8LU
You will report directly into the cleaning & environmental operations manager
FULL UK MANUAL LICENCE IS REQUIRED
We are looking for an experienced Cleaning and Environmental External operative to deliver routine Schedule's & a planned Winter Strategy.
You should be capable of building positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations. You should have a full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work specification and time allocated to facilities and have knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by Mitie. You must always adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures and participate in all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
You will have ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team. You must be capable of working to their own initiative where appropriate. You should be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a cleaning or environmental services role, Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment., Understanding of and commitment to sustainable practices in cleaning and environmental., Experience with waste reduction initiatives and programs. and Experience in winter strategies, including gritting and snow removal.
