Support Worker – LE1
Duration: Full time or Part time 8:30am to 3pm or 9:30am to 4:30pm
Salary: £13 per hour
Social Care & Education are recruiting for experienced and passionate Support Workers to work in one of our colleges. You will be responsible for supporting and promoting independence for both skills to work and skills for life.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• To interact and respond to the needs of all learners that you are supporting, promoting independence.
• Provide Learning Support on a 1:1 and classroom basis
• To provide a personal centred approach, tailoring support to meet individual needs.
• To work in partnership with young people and college staff.
• To provide personal care where appropriate.
• To undertake administrative tasks and complete all forms of record keeping.
The Requirements:
• At least 6 months experience working as a Support Worker with young adults
• Experience working with Learning Disabilities
• Good Communication and Listening Skills
• Valid DBS / CRB
