Summary
Principle responsibilities: Undertake analysis of data to support the defined work programme agreed with the BI manager. Undertake analysis of data to support and respond to ad-hoc requests Assist with weekly/daily reporting such as A&E Performance (SitRep) and 18wk PTLs. Aid senior analysts in reporting to Executive team. Assist with timely data collection to support the submission of all national, regional and local activity returns. Assist with data quality monitoring analysis and reporting. Co-ordinate and summarise information from other departments. Work autonomously, plan and prioritise own workload. Assist in interpreting analyses and adding intelligence by communicating complicated, difficult to explain IM&T issues to non IM&T staff and very detailed IM&T information within peer groups for areas of key responsibility. Promote understanding of NHS Data Definitions, Models and Relationships and co-ordinate the implementation of any definitional changes released nationally, as appropriate to key areas of responsibility and knowledge.
