We're Looking for a Fabrications Team Leader who's ready to take ownership, innovate, and make an immediate impact with a growing company in the Evesham area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead safe and efficient brake press operations.
- Oversee machine maintenance (TPM) and maintain a clean, organised workshop.
- Enforce health & safety standards for all staff and visitors.
- Manage team performance, delegate tasks, and promote a positive work culture.
- Maintain production flow and ensure schedules are met.
- Track attendance, manage holidays, and log project hours accurately.
- Read technical drawings and collaborate with design and production teams.
- Advise on processes, materials, and supplier choices.
- Order materials within budget and escalate issues when necessary.
What You'll Bring
- Proven hands-on experience with brake press and fabrication.
- Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
- Confident IT skills for scheduling, reporting, and resource planning.
- A positive attitude - practical, team-oriented, and no egos.
