Summary

Telent are looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Network Services Project team, due to an influx of work within the Networks Infrastructure space. This Project Coordinator role, is a HYBRID / Agile working role that will see you work from the Warwick office (CV34 5AH) up to 2 days per week, and working from home. We require the ability and flexibility to travel into the Warwick office and preferably a holder of UK driving license holder.

You must have full RTW in the UK and are eligible for SC Clearance.

The successful Project Coordinator will support the Project Management team in the successful delivery of an assigned network refresh project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a programme that will decommission and install new routing devices across its business premise. You will coordinate, schedule and administer work schedules for the programme, ensuring readiness and contributing to the successful delivery of the programme.

What you'll do:

  • Office and home based work as required to ensure support and management of assigned daily activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with project delivery requirements for quality, safety and environmental standards, plus Telent and client QEHS procedures.
  • Follow agreed governance, monitoring and reporting processes.
  • Assisting in reporting project performance (KPI's), highlighting all risks & issues and their mitigations throughout the project life cycle.
  • Assist with the effective planning/scheduling & coordination of the project workstreams in collaboration with other workstream Managers and in line with the Programme Plan.
  • Assists in using prescribed guidelines or policies to analyse and resolve problems.
  • Best use of internal or external business processes to improve products or service delivery.
  • Support and assist continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support and assist with the Business/Technical Change processes.
  • Working with the relevant internal business teams (i.e., Facilities, Finance, Human Resources, Quality, and Health & Safety) and external suppliers, to enable the efficient management of their areas of responsibility.
  • Coordinating site specific activities to support the installation and commissioning of specified products and/or services including booking staff in/out of sites.
  • Day to day support to the project teams to achieve project milestones.
  • Assisting in the preparation and coordination of project support documentation, including Bill of Materials lists, Purchase Orders (PO's) and site team logs.
  • Assist in scheduling Engineering staff to specified project activities.
  • Provide input to support financial performance reporting.
  • Support and assist the Project teams with material orders.
  • Organising and maintaining the storage and retrieval of all documents, data and artefacts related to their areas of responsibility.
  • Will support with the site handover documentation and processes.
  • Collating and circulating any meeting documents in advance of meetings, setting up the Visual Management Boards and capturing minutes during meetings if required.
  • Support the collation of information for monthly contract review.
  • Support the team in updating project databases and records.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience in an Admin / Administrative or Coordinator / Scheduler / Project Support role or environment
  • Higher National Certificate / PM training is highly desirable but not essential
  • Competent user of Microsoft office packages - MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Teams
  • Good communication skills, verbally and written
  • Good attention to detail and accurate data inputting / retrieval skills
  • Awareness of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations
  • Awareness of Document Management Systems
  • Institution of Occupation Safety and Health (IOSH)
