This role will help bridge the gap between voluntary and statutory services through helping people navigate social work processes, ensuring people’s rights are upheld and their needs are met under the provision of the Care Act 2014.
Experience of working with vulnerable adults experiencing multiple exclusions, along with knowledge of mental health and substance misuse is essential to this role. The successful candidate will work alongside clients to help them achieve their goals and ambitions, recognising individuals as the experts of their experiences and futures.
You will provide support and advice to staff, support Turning Tides’ quarterly safeguarding reviews and support the delivery of our internal safeguarding training. The ability to create positive relationships with key stakeholders, including local statutory agencies, and raising awareness of the barriers people experiencing homelessness face is key to the success of this role.
