The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and complete the work set. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in education or for those with experience in youth work, tutoring, or classroom support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of the classroom teacher

  
  

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure a safe, respectful environment

  
  

• Support students with their learning and answer questions as required

  
  

• Report back to teaching staff on pupil progress and classroom conduct

  
  

• Assist with administrative and general support tasks as needed

  
  

  About You:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    
    

  • Confident classroom presence and ability to manage behaviour positively

    
    

  • Adaptable and able to work across a range of subjects and year groups

    
    

  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential

    
    

  • A degree or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not required
