Job Title: Slinger/ Signaller- HS2 Project
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire, UK
Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Contract
Start Date: Immediate
Company Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Slinger to join our team on the HS2 high-speed rail project in the Banbury area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the UK's most high-profile infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely slinging and directing loads during lifting operations.

Working closely with crane operators, lifting supervisors, and ground teams.

Ensuring all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with method statements and safety standards.

Conducting pre-use checks and reporting any equipment faults.

Supporting general lifting and logistical duties as needed on site.
Requirements:
-
Valid CPCS Blue Card - Slinger/Signaller
-
Proven experience working on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

Solid understanding of lifting operations, safety procedures, and site protocols.

Full UK Driving Licence - site is not easily accessible via public transport.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and site management.
Desirable:

Additional lifting or construction-related certifications
-
Familiarity with HS2-specific procedures and standards
Working Hours:
-
Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work depending on site requirements.
