NHS LPP is seeking a proactive and experienced Category Manager to lead procurement initiatives across a designated portfolio within Estates, Facilities, and Corporate Services (EFCS). You will manage a delegated category, which includes frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS), delivering strategic sourcing projects that generate measurable value for our NHS members. • Developing and delivering category strategy and savings work plans.
• Leading complex procurement and sourcing projects end to end.
• Ensuring compliance with public procurement legislation, NHS England strategies, and UK law.
• Driving value for money through process improvement and total cost of ownership modelling.
• Providing expert guidance and innovative solutions to procurement challenges.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of procurement practices.
• Acting as a role model, promoting professional excellence and best practice.
