There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Group division located in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to recruit a part time PA to the Directors to join the Risk and Health, Safety and Environmental teams.
The Role
Principal accountabilities of the PA to Directors role include:
First point of contact to deal with correspondence and telephone calls, ensuring urgent messages are actioned immediately.
Administer general email boxes.
Provide the Group Risk Director and Group HSE Director with secretarial support such as typing up correspondence, diary management and organising meetings.
Minute meetings, type up notes and present in a professional format.
Organise travel and maintain schedules of team movements, holiday, and absence.
Maintain efficient filling and archive systems for Risk and HSE.
Support preparation of Board, Committee and Management/Dashboard reporting.
Process contracts and invoices for third party consultants used.
Liaise with secretaries at Group and Divisions.
The above list of accountabilities is not exclusive or exhaustive. The post holder will be required to undertake any such duties as may be reasonably expected.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
Experience of working in a secretarial/PA role supporting Director level roles.
Qualifications and Training:
GCSE Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
Skills and Aptitude:
Excellent administration and organisation skills
Strong communication and listening skills
Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
Demonstrates a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and outlook) and the ability to adapt to new systems.

Part Time hours - 28 hours per week
Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked.
Office based role.
