Location: Denham, Middlesex
Note: Due to the remote business location, the ideal candidate must have their own transport.
Salary: £28,000k - £30,000k per year + possible overtime
Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-12:00
Job Summary:
Join a leading aerospace company and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of aircrew by packing and repacking parachutes and drogues. You’ll be part of a dedicated team focused on quality and precision, contributing to life-saving technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Pack parachutes and drogues to technical specifications.
Draw parts from satellite stores and record batch numbers.
Check parachutes for flaws and complete history sheets.
Prepare parachutes for loading into presses and efficiently operate them.
Collaborate on development programs, including prototypes and test pieces.
Qualifications & Skills:
Parachute packing experience is a distinct advantage.
Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
Engineering/manufacturing background.
Excellent attention to detail and a conscientious, responsible approach.
Team player.
