Join Our Pack – Store Manager, Huddersfield
Who are we?
We’re more than just a pet store, we’re a one-stop destination for everything pets need and pet lovers love. From toys and treats to grooming salons and veterinary care, our community-focused Pet Care Centres bring together passionate teams and devoted customers across the UK. We believe in creating a welcoming, supportive space where pets are family, and where our people thrive.

What’s the role?
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and driven Store Manager to lead our Huddersfield team. This isn’t just about running a store, it’s about leading a team, shaping the customer experience, and turning your store into the heart of the local pet-loving community.

As Store Manager, you’ll report to your Area Manager and take full ownership of your centre’s day-to-day operations, combining commercial know-how with compassionate leadership. No two days are the same, and that’s exactly how we like it!

What you’ll be doing:
Leading from the front setting the tone, inspiring your team, and driving performance every step of the way.
Managing store operations, from stock control and merchandising to operational excellence and compliance.
Creating a culture of fun, inclusivity, and collaboration where everyone feels welcome and supported.
Delivering a best-in-class customer experience, tailored advice, expert support, and genuine care for every visitor .....and their pets!
Living and breathing our values to help us become the Best Pet Care Business in the World.

What’s in it for you?
We’ll set you up for success with industry-leading training, a comprehensive 6-month onboarding programme, and continuous development to help you thrive – in pet care, customer service, team leadership, and beyond. You’ll also enjoy generous colleague discounts, career progression opportunities, and the chance to make a real impact in your community.

Who are we looking for?
You don’t need to know everything about pets .... yet, we’ll teach you that. But you do need to bring:

Experience leading a team in a busy retail, hospitality or customer-focused environment.
A passion for people, coaching, developing, and motivating those around you to do their best.
A love for delivering great results and an eye for operational excellence.
Strong communication and organisational skills, you keep calm, even on the busiest days.
Flexibility to work a 7-day rota including weekends and bank holidays.
Whether you’re a seasoned retail leader or ready to take that next step in your career, if you care about people, pets, and creating brilliant experiences, we’d love to meet you!

We take our inspiration from pets in embracing people from all walks of life, and we value, respect and celebrate difference. We encourage our people to be their best selves so that we can create a better world for Pets, our Planet, and People. Our ambition is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and we are intentional in addressing and removing barriers to create opportunities for the exceptional talent and potential in our communities. Even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
