About the role
As a Procurement Assistant, you will be responsible for administrative and operational support to the procurement team, ensuring efficient purchasing processes, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with organisational policies and regulations. You will assist in sourcing suppliers, managing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records. Reporting to the Head of Purchasing, the role will support in handling procurement related activities within a busy office including but not limited to, dealing with internal and external procurement queries, contact with customers and suppliers, facilitating payments through card and our Purchase Order using our finance system.
About the person
The successful candidate will hold buying and/or procurement knowledge whilst being IT literate including the use of Microsoft Excel. It is desirable for you to have at least two years of experience within a finance office dealing with purchase ledger however, it is your customer service skills alongside great organisational planning that need to be top notch.
