Personal Assistant-Lancaster
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and neuroaffirmative Personal Assistant (PA) to support a teenage boy who thrives in environments that promote autonomy, emotional safety, and validation. This role is ideal for someone with experience or interest in working alongside neurodivergent young people using a strength-based, person-centred approach.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Be calm, emotionally attuned, and responsive, with a strong commitment to neuroaffirmative practice.
• Demonstrate understanding of sensory processing, anxiety, and the impact of transitions and change on neurodivergent individuals.
• Be confident in taking a flexible and intuitive approach, rather than task-focused support.
• Have a genuine interest in building connection through shared interests, particularly outdoors and nature-based activities.
• Value autonomy and agency, always working with the young person, not on or to them.
