Summary

Hours of work: 25 Hours per week
Rate of pay £14.00
I am a gentleman in my thirties who would like to employ a personal assistant to help me with day-to-day tasks, social and sporting activities.
As my PA you will be supporting me in the home at out in the community.
This will include assisting me with domestic tasks at home by providing encouragement and support with household management chores such as food preparation, shopping and meal planning, cleaning and laundry. This will help me develop good practices and improve my independent living skills.
I am also a lively person who enjoys a variety of sports and activities. I will need your support to access sporting events both to watch and to take part in, especially football and rugby. I also enjoy bike riding and swimming. I would also like to explore new activities so a knowledge of local events would be advantageous
I will also require my PA to accompany and support me in my volunteering role at a local shop & café.
Some flexibility with working hours is essential as evenings and weekend work may be required at times. Shifts will be mutually agreed in advance.

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
Wages will be paid in arrears on a 4 weekly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
