IT Technician
Start date: As soon as possible
Days/hours of work: Ideally 5 days, but negotiable
Monday – Thursday 08:00-16:00 Friday 08:00-15:30
52 weeks per year (minus annual leave plus bank holidays)
Salary: FTE £25,186 - £26,246
Main purpose
This role works with the School IT team to provide an effective IT service to support learning and teaching.
If you possess a polite and courteous manner and have the ability to multi task, this could be the role for you.
Main Duties
• Assist pupils and staff with technical problems
• Deploy operating systems, updates and software
• Maintain support servers
• Support networks and Backup systems
• Repair and maintain I.T. and audio visual equipment
• Occasional projects to implement new services
• Deal with suppliers and support companies
Please note that this is illustrative of the general nature and level of responsibility of the role. The post holder may be required to do other duties appropriate to the level of the role, as directed by the Headteacher.
