Summary
This permanent, full time, term time role is available now.
This post will be operational across numerous locations within the Commercial Operations on Streatham and St Lukes campuses, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our Culinary Catering team within our busy kitchens.
Working 36.5 hours per week for any 5 days out of 7 this role will require you to work during the day and some evenings and weekends on a rota basis over 40 working weeks.
Having qualifications in NVQ 2 in food preparation (or relevant experience), food safety and health and safety would be advantageous. You will have a flexible approach to working hours and practices, as well as having excellent communication skills. The role will include maintaining high standards of cleanliness within a busy environment.
Across the campuses we provide the following services; retail shops, retail catering, residential catering, licenced premises, hospitality, conferencing and events.
You will make an important contribution to the achievement of the following aims:
Ensuring students receive the highest quality student experience
Developing standards which ensure the service is at the forefront of the industry
Delivering a financial contribution to ensure continuous investment across the University’s estate
Providing exceptional culinary service to all our event clients
