Craft Delicious Moments Every Day
Our Chefs create fresh, high-quality meals and snacks on demand, bringing seasonal menus and special boards to life with great taste and presentation. Whether working solo or alongside kitchen assistants and waiting staff, you play a vital role in delivering the exceptional food experience our guests love. You’re helping them enjoy more quality time with family and friends by offering a tasty alternative to self-catering.
Please note, this role includes working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays — because great food doesn’t clock out.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals and snacks from seasonal menus and specials
• Maintain excellent food presentation and uphold strict hygiene and safety standards
• Work independently or as part of the team, supporting kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Manage stock levels and assist with receiving and storing deliveries correctly
• Stay flexible and adaptable to help deliver a seamless, memorable experience for our guests
About You
We’re looking for someone with a solid basic understanding of food prep and presentation, plus some catering or cooking-to-order experience — whether from college, home, or previous roles. Most importantly, you’re enthusiastic, friendly, and truly passionate about food.
Attitude is everything here. Our guests come first, and we expect you to go the extra mile to make their Verdant experience unforgettable. If you’re adaptable, flexible, and ready to jump in wherever needed to help the whole team shine, you’ll fit right in.
