Job Title: Approved Electrician

Job Purpose:
To carry out electrical installation work to the highest industry standards, ensuring compliance with current regulations, health and safety policies, and project requirements. As an Approved Electrician, you will be responsible for supervising less experienced electricians, signing off work, and ensuring quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and test electrical systems on a commercial project
Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Carry out periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations.
Complete and certify electrical installation certificates and reports.
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
Supervise and mentor apprentices and electricians where required.
Ensure compliance with IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and health & safety procedures.
Work independently or as part of a team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other trades on site.
Essential Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician grade).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
Full UK driving license.
Proven experience in electrical installation and testing.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and drawings.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
IPAF or PASMA is a plus
Willing to work 12 hour days & weekends
