Crynodeb
1 to 2 Support Assistants are required to support a young man for 5 hours per week (School holidays only), to access community activities. The young man is a wheelchair user, profoundly deaf and has Down Syndrome. He requires personal care.
The 5 hours are to be covered between 9 am and 3 pm during school holidays. This is to give his mum some respite. The days are to be mutually agreed at interview level.
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour
A driver with own vehicle would be ideal, although he can use his wheelchair to travel locally, however, this may require a 2:1 support.
A DBS is required for this position
