Care Assistant
L.B.C.L Job
Staff at L.B.C.L will care for services users in the Great Sutton, Little Sutton, Hope Farm & Whitby area of Ellesmere Port. (Cheshire West & Chester)
Staff would need to be available to work either: Days, from 7 a.m to 2 p.m or Evening 4 p.m until 10 p.m. or staff could opt to work both is desired.
Staff will work rolling rotas (Week 1) Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday (Week 2) Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
All staff are required to work every other weekend as part of their contract of employment. Hour will depend on which shift care staff are contracted to work.
Full U.K driving license is required and access to their own car.
Travel time will be given per shift.
Company uniform will be provided
L.B.C.L will provide an enhanced DBS, this will be required before employment can start.
Staff will be given full support and shadowing from the senior members of the team
Training will be provided and supported whenever needed.
Staff holidays provided. this will be discussed at the interview
Staff will be required to promote our clients independence and provide care that empowers them in their daily routines. This will involve numerous tasks from helping and supporting our clients - assisting with personal care, medication support, cooking, domestic duties, shopping, safe and well visits.
All care staff should be: caring, compassionate, competent, good communicators & have good Common sense. Experience is not essential.
