Summary

Pinnacle Group is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Asset Surveyor to join our team supporting the Swindon Schools PFI contract. As the first point of contact for project-related enquiries, you will play a key role in tracking, managing and resolving requests to ensure smooth delivery and high stakeholder satisfaction. You will be responsible for collecting and updating asset data across school sites, working closely with project staff, site teams and regional managers.

You will be joining our Total FM team at Swindon Schools where we provide integrated asset management and maintenance services across the education, leisure, corporate, health and living sectors, ensuring facilities operate safely, efficiently and at their best.

This graduate-level role is ideal for someone with over two years’ experience in asset or M&E delivery who’s ready to grow their career in a fast-paced purpose-led environment, training will be provided. Flexibility is essential as some work must take place outside of school hours, with shifts operating on a negotiable rota between 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm and occasional weekend work. This is a fixed-term position until 31st December 2026 and requires an enhanced DBS check.

Key responsibilities:

  • Day to day responsibility for collection of asset data across school sites using Fieldwire and Matterport.
  • Updating asset records with information collected from sites.
  • Tracking job progress and implementing escalation procedures.
  • Report back to project staff and Regional Operations Manager on job progress.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties requested by the Lifecycle Project Manager.

Essential skills

  • Over 2 years experience in M&E, asset administration working within a build or FM environment or similar, experience within a challenging environment is essential.
  • Degree qualified in an M&E / construction related field.
  • Flexible hours are required, as the surveys must take place outside of school hours, some weekend work may be required
  • Strong Computer Literacy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience within PFI environment, M&E asset surveys and Fieldwide / Matterport are desirable
