Are you an experienced small animal vet looking for a supportive, progressive environment where you can genuinely enjoy your work? This exciting opportunity in beautiful Shropshire could be your perfect match. Based in a well-equipped, modern practice with in-house blood machines, ultrasound, CR x-ray, dental x-ray, and endoscopes, this role offers you the chance to work up cases fully in-house, with the autonomy and clinical freedom you need to thrive. The leadership team is open minded and forward thinking—if there's equipment that will improve patient care, they’re ready to support you.

You’ll be part of a close knit, experienced team that includes a vet with a certificate in small animal diagnostic imaging, as well as access to a wider network of colleagues with expertise in cardiology, dentistry, feline medicine, internal medicine, and more. The nursing team is equally passionate and skilled, with a strong interest in Schedule 3 procedures and a desire to work alongside vets who will nurture their growth and potential. You’ll also be making a difference in the local community through the practice’s partnerships with dog and cat charities, adding even more variety and meaning to your caseload.

Whether you're a confident, seasoned vet or a more recently graduated clinician with the drive to grow, this practice is ready to support you. They want to understand what makes you love being a vet and build a role that lets you do more of it. If you have a specific clinical interest or certificate, they’ll help shape your caseload and support your continued development across their wider team.

This is a truly rewarding role with no out-of-hours, regular team socials, and a healthy approach to work-life balance. If you’re ready to feel inspired and valued in your career again—this is your moment!
