As a Hospitality Porter with Sodexo, you'll enhance the services of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless facilities operations and keep things running smoothly.
What you'll do:
- Be a friendly face, assisting employees, clients, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Respond promptly to incoming service requests from clients and colleagues.
- Keep our teams safe by having a close eye on Health & Safety practices, reporting issues as required.
- Support event setups by moving and arranging furniture and equipment
- Receive and check deliveries, perform temperature checks, and store goods appropriately
- Clean and sanitize furniture and equipment below 6 feet
- Remove waste in compliance with Sodexo environmental policies
- Assist the event team or vending service during peak hours or events
- Maintain accurate temperature and cleaning records
- Ensure equipment is safe, clean, and report any faults promptly
- Support out-of-hours hospitality with prior notice
- Report all incidents or irregularities immediately
- Deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, helpful attitude
- Perform other duties related to hospitality operations as required by the Manager
What you'll bring:
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Experience in food service, catering, or hospitality (preferred)
- NVQ qualification (desirable)
- Basic food hygiene certificate
- Health & Safety training
