South Lanarkshire Council Justice Services are seeking a highly motivated and experienced person with a background in quality improvement and outcome development within the public sector. This may be of interest to individuals who have a background in social work/community learning/community justice or other public protection organisations.

This is unique opportunity to contribute to the acceleration of our community justice improvement journey, promoting the national aims and priorities of the Community Justice National Strategy.

As the Operational Development Team Leader for Justice Services you will have line management responsibilities for Community Justice staff, with oversight and direction of the key Community Justice Partnership activities and reporting. The role also requires a focus in implementing service improvement plans, associated quality assurance activity and performance monitoring systems.

This post requires someone who has an aptitude for partnership working, working within a degree of uncertainty and complexity as well as being driven by delivering improved services and better outcomes for those we serve. In return you will be well supported in your role, provided professional development and work with a range of exceptionally experienced and forward thinking colleagues. We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements with the role being primarily office based with agile working opportunities.

The successful candidate will require to undertaken Non Police Personnel Vetting level 2.
