You'll be joining a well-established and reputable main contractor with a strong presence across Edinburgh, known for delivering high-quality commercial projects. With a growing pipeline of work in the central belt, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a £2 million shell and core development in the heart of Edinburgh.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You'll coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics in a busy city centre environment, and liaise closely with the project team and client representatives. This is a high-profile project requiring strong leadership and attention to detail.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience managing shell and core or structural build projects, ideally in tight urban environments
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage programmes, site teams, and subcontractors effectively
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to health and safety
