Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant, you will support theSenior Management Accountant. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and managing service charge accounts.
- Budgeting and forecasting for property-related expenses.
- Reconciling accounts and ensuring accurate financial records.
- Assisting with financial reporting and audits.
- Collaborating with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant within the Housing sector.
- Strong understanding of service charge accounting.
- Experience with property management accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable.
