About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will provide continuous, support to a vulnerable individual with Epilepsy, cerebral palsy. You'll reside in the client's home on a rota basis and assist with a wide range of tasks, including PEG Fed, Jejunostomy tube, personal care, companionship, emotional support, mobility, and daily living activities such as meal preparation and household tasks. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting difference in someone's life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing round-the-clock care and companionship in the service user's own home
  • Supporting with all aspects of personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care
  • Assisting with mobility and using equipment safely (e.g., hoists or walking aids)
  • Preparing and serving meals, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met
  • Administering or prompting medication (as trained and required)
  • Carrying out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Monitoring health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns promptly
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing through conversation, reassurance, and meaningful activities
  • Enabling the service user to maintain routines, hobbies, and social connections
  • Maintaining accurate care records and respecting confidentiality and boundaries
  • Following the agreed care plan and working closely with family members and healthcare professionals

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care. Ideally, you will have:

  • A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
  • Complex Care experience preferred,
