Vacancy – Warehouse Supervisor
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to maintain productivity, safety, and inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
• Handling/storing/packing high value/delicate equipment
• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and regular reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce proper warehouse procedures.
• Implement continuous improvement practices to increase productivity and reduce errors.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks as needed.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and service coordination teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Report any issues related to inventory or warehouse operations to the Internal Operations Manager and support in devising and implementing solutions.
• Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and easy access to products.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders.
• Monitor and manage warehouse supplies, ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment.
• Resolve issues related to damaged goods, order discrepancies, and delivery delays.
• Motivating a workforce
• Experience In collections/deliveries and safe and secure loading and storage of goods
• Customer/supplier liaison
• Knowledge of medical equipment desirable
