This post is full time (35 hours per week – compressed or part time hours may also be considered) and has funding available for up to 3 years in the first instance. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.

We are seeking to appoint a Spatial Omics Technologist who will support the establishment and running of spatial omics within the Molecular Analysis Facility that currently offers bulk RNA/DNA library preparations, single cell sequencing and comprehensive bioinformatics data processing and visualisation.

In this role, the successful candidate will be an experienced technician with working knowledge of spatial transcriptomics. They will act as a resource within and external to the Molecular Analysis Facility by providing specialist expertise, guidance and advice to users.

The postholder will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative workflows in spatial omics to meet the needs of researchers thereby enhancing service provision and supporting research initiatives in spatial biology.
