HRGO are recruiting a Line Leader on behalf of our client in Chartham, on the outskirts of Canterbury.
This role is perfect for individuals who have a strong background in managing production lines, experience working in fast-paced environments and are prepared to take on the responsibility of leading a team to achieve production goals. This is an ongoing temporary role which can lead to a permanent position.
Salary: £13.45 per hour (Overtime Rate: £16.81 per hour)
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, including weekends
An immediate start is available for the right candidate!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production lines efficiently, ensuring all targets and quality standards are met.
- Assign tasks effectively and ensure that team members are operating at their full potential.
- Complete and file all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
- Provide clear instructions and leadership to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Maintain a high level of product quality and rectify any deviations promptly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food production is highly desirable.
- Proven managerial or leadership experience within a production environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
- Production experience is essential.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management.
- Possession of a personal vehicle is preferable, though not essential, with a train station located 20 minutes away from the site.
