Job Title: Reach truck / VNA driver (Valid License Required)
Location: Blyth S81
Shift Options Available:
• Days: Monday-Friday rotating (06:00 AM - 02:00 PM and 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
• Nights: Monday-Friday (10:00 PM - 06:00 AM)
• 4 ON 4 OFF Days: (06:00 AM - 06:00 PM)
• 4 ON 4 OFF Nights: (06:00 PM - 06:00 AM)
Salary:
• Day shift: £12.69 per hour £19.04 OT
• Night Shift: £14.44 per hour £21.66 OT
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate Reach / VNA forklifts to move products.
• Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and storage locations, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist in tracking inventory levels, ensuring accurate counts and documentation of items as they are moved within the warehouse.
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies during handling and report any issues to the warehouse supervisor.
• Maintain an organized and efficient storage system, ensuring that products are stored in designated areas for easy access.
• Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized, following all health and safety regulations.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Qualifications:
• A current and valid Reach / VNA forklift license is required.
• Previous experience operating Reach / VNA forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate handling and documentation of goods.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a warehouse setting.
Preferred Skills:
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
