Summary
Personal Assistant Required
• We are looking to appoint a PA for a young Deaf person.
• You would be responsible for taking the child out and accessing activities with them in the local community to reduce social isolation and develop life skills.
• The position would be for 5 hours each week. (Hours are negotiable) Salary is £12.21 per hour.
• Do you have the skills, patience and care needed to enrich this child’s life? This is an inquisitive, happy child who is active and loves the company of others.
• BSL would be an advantage but not essential. Experience of working with children ideally with special educational needs is required. A driving licence and current DBS certificate are also required. (DBS certificate can be obtained upon application through the local authority.)
