Wiltshire Pension Fund, 12 month contract, full-time 37 hours per week

Would you like to help deliver communications to Wiltshire Pension Fund’s 89,000 members, 180 employers, staff and stakeholders?

Wiltshire Pension Fund is seeking a motivated individual to step into a senior and influential role, leading the delivery of our communications strategy and managing our reputation with stakeholders, employers, members, and the wider pensions industry.

This is an exciting development opportunity, as a fixed-term 12-month contract - ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in communications, strategic planning, events, and/or people management. Whether you're already experienced in leadership or looking to take your first step into line management, this role could be a perfect fit.

As the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Lead you will oversee a small, dynamic team and be responsible for key communications decisions, shaping how we engage with stakeholders and the public. From mass mailings and newsletters to press releases, social media, and events—you’ll help manage it all. You don’t need a technical pensions background; just strong communication and leadership skills, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to deliver impactful, engaging content. As part of the Fund’s senior management team, you’ll also contribute to strategic planning and support our ongoing culture transformation, embedding the Funds values and shaping how teams work together.

Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent knowledge in leading corporate communications and strong stakeholder management skills. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, alongside exceptional organisational skills to coordinate multiple projects, will be essential.

If you have a creative, pro-active mindset and a passion for continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you!

This position comes with a 17% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
