Summary
An exciting vacancy is available as an Electrotechnical Assessor in the Work-Based Learning department at Cardiff and the Vale College. This post will be field based across South Wales.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct regular workplace visits to assess apprentices’ practical skill and knowledge
Deliver, assess, and moderate the EAL Level 3 Building Services Engineering – Electrotechnical Installation qualification to a caseload of 35-45 apprentices.
Support apprentices in preparing for the AM2S assessment
Maintain accurate records of apprentices’ progress and assessment outcomes
Provide feedback and guidance to apprentices to support their development
Actively engage and consult with employers to ensure training aligns with workplace expectations
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety and equality policies
Participate in standardisation and quality assurance activities
