Crynodeb
This is the key management role within the Medical Practice (this consists of the main Practice, plus any local satellite bases),with responsibility for supporting a wide-ranging agenda through the delivery of patient-centred, safe, effective primary healthcareservices to the registered patients of the Practice. The post holder will work closely with the Practice Team to lead the delivery of the GMS Contract and associatedservices to the Practice population. The post holder will use specialist knowledge to lead the delivery, contract management andlong-term strategic planning of the Practice. The post holder will lead service development and improvement, evaluating throughperformance management and lead the production and delivery of specific plans and projects to lead and develop the Practice tomeet the healthcare needs of the local population. The post holder will act as the day-to-day contact for resolving highly complex contract management issues that arise within thePractice. This will involve providing and receiving highly complex, highly sensitive or highly contentious information where thereare barriers to understanding or acceptance, which are overcome using developed interpersonal and communication skills. Thepost holder will demonstrate appropriate analytical ability, comprehension skills, intellectual capacity and knowledge of relevantcontract/legislation, regulatory frameworks, performance management, and financial arrangements.
