Excellent opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner with a Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare to start a new permanent position at a warm and welcoming nursery in Wimbledon with immediate start!

Working full-time as a Nursery Practitioner, you will be joining a team of committed and friendly staff and some of your daily duties will include:
• Leading/providing assistance for activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
• Following the EYFS curriculum to assist with the development of early reading and early maths skills
• Creating a language rich and supportive environment
• Encouraging development through interactive play and age-appropriate learning experiences
• Helping children to start developing positive relationships and social skills from a young age
• Feeding and personal care
Previous experience within a nursery setting is desired for this Nursery Practitioner position, and a relevant Childcare or Early Years qualification is essential. The suitable Nursery Practitioner should have a good understanding of and good attitude towards working in EYFS, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
As a permanent member of staff working in this inclusive nursery in Wimbledon, you will be making a real difference to children's early development and will leave each day feeling rewarded and achieved. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be working 40 hours a week but this can be flexible, and the salary will be up to £30k per annum.
