This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and experienced Clinical Director to join a long established, highly respected small animal practice in Staffordshire. With over 100 years of service behind them, this practice blends tradition with innovation, delivering exceptional care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The team is the heart of the practice, many with over 20 years of dedicated service! Creating a welcoming, close knit atmosphere where mentorship, shared knowledge, and clinical excellence are at the core of everything they do. The 9 vet team includes a certificate holder in Ophthalmology, and three others working towards certificates in Surgery, ECC, and Acupuncture, reflecting a strong commitment to continuous development.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead, shape and guide an established clinical team, with the full backing of an MBA qualified Practice Manager to support the business side of decision making. As Clinical Director, you’ll have the autonomy and platform to drive clinical excellence, grow services, and develop the team, all within a well-resourced, forward thinking practice.
Facilities include Digital X-ray, ultrasound at both sites, large and small endoscopes, electrocautery, cryotherapy, ophthalmic loops, a full range of dental and orthopaedic surgical equipment, and much more. Caseloads are both routine and advanced featuring orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic procedures, cancer care, ophthalmology referrals, and more - offering daily clinical variety and challenge.
This role is perfect for a confident leader, ideally a certificate holder or working towards one, who is passionate about delivering outstanding care, fostering a positive team culture, and building strong client relationships. Whether you thrive on supporting your colleagues, love to innovate, or enjoy the business side of practice, your influence here will make a lasting impact.
