Thepostholder willprovidea highlevel,competent,comprehensiveadministrativesupportto the Heads of Service.
Thepostholderwillhavedaytodaymanagementforstaffwithinadedicatedadministrativeteamwhowillberesponsiblefordelivering aneffective service.
Thepostholder willsupport Clinical Leads/Service Managers withPersonal Assistant(PA)duties. .
ToprovidecrosscoverwithintheClinicalGroups attimesofshortstaffinglevelstoensurethesmooth delivery of services withinthe Division.
· SupportothermembersoftheClinicalGrouponadaytodaybasis, by prioritising and managing ownandteamworkloadincludingoutsourcing.
· Reviewandprioritiseall correspondencereceivedrequiringclinicalinput,ensuringthatanyfurtherinformationrequired bytheClinical Lead/Service Managerismade available.
· CompletequalitycontrolchecksacrossadministrationfunctionswithintheClinical Groups. (i.e.ensureSOPsare adheredtoo).
· ProvidethefirstpointofcontactforwrittenandtelephoneenquiriesonbehalfoftheClinical Lead/Service Manager,usingjudgement to establishthevalidity andpriorityofthecontact.
· To provide a customer focused service to patients and be able to communicate effectivelyandappropriatelywithpatientsandalllevelsofstaffmaintainingconfidentialityatall times.
· ManageandmaintaintheClinical Lead/Service Managerdiaryorappointmentsystem,ensuringthat utilisationof timeand allocationofappointments isappropriate.
