We are seeking a talented and passionate Freelance Music Tutor to join our dynamic team of educators. You will work flexibly, creating personalized lesson plans that cater to the unique needs, interests, and abilities of each student. Your role will involve teaching various instruments, music theory, and potentially offering vocal coaching, ensuring that every lesson is engaging, enjoyable, and educational. You will have the chance to work one-on-one or in small groups, allowing for a more tailored approach to instruction. Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging and effective music lessons tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
Teach various musical instruments including piano, guitar, violin, and voice.
Instruct students in music theory, composition, and performance techniques.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement and growth.
Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student expression and creativity.
Develop lesson plans that incorporate students' musical interests and goals.
Maintain open communication with students and their parents regarding progress and any concerns.
Requirements
Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and/or vocal training.
Strong understanding of music theory and composition.
Previous experience in music teaching or tutoring is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
A passion for teaching and nurturing students' love for music.
Flexibility and adaptability in scheduling and lesson structuring.
Hours Per Week:
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £27.92
Location: Kingston Upon Thames, South West London
