TeacherActive are proud to be working with a large number of Secondary Schools across the Maidstone area. We are actively recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support our school network with reliable, professional, and confident staff for a September start.

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis. The role does not include planning or marking, but strong communication and classroom control are essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set lessons across various subjects and year groups (11–16)

  
  

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  
  

• Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment

  
  

• Provide support to students to help them stay on task

  
  

• Report back to teaching staff or senior leaders as required

  
  

• Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom settings

  
  

  The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

  • CACHE Level 2/3 or a minimum of 6 months relevant classroom experience

    
    

  • Confidence in managing whole classes and supporting student progress

    
    

  • A professional, flexible and reliable approach to each placement

    
    

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and school staff
