Senior Sales Executive / B2B Sales Development Representative who has a consultative / solutions-driven background with experience managing the full end-to-end sales life cycle from lead generation / customer research, prospecting calls, assessing needs, sending proposals, negotiating and closing deals.

This position is fully remote, so you must be self-motivated with the ability to set your own workload to achieve targets for yourself and the business.


SALARY: £100,000+ OTE (uncapped commission structure)

LOCATION: Remote / Homebased (candidates must be UK based)

JOB OVERVIEW

Due to the company expanding its team, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Sales Executive / B2B Sales Development Representative who has a consultative / solutions-driven background with experience managing the full end-to-end sales life cycle from lead generation / customer research, prospecting calls, assessing needs, sending proposals, negotiating and closing deals.

Working as a Senior Sales Executive / B2B Sales Development Representative you will drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional service to your clients. In this role, you will own the end-to-end sales process, from initial client engagement to deal closure. The position is ideal for a highly experienced salesperson with a proven track record in consultative sales and a strong ability to work across various sectors. Project-based sales experience is highly desirable.

As the Senior Sales Executive / B2B Sales Development Representative you will ideally have experience in the area of grant funding / bid writing consultancy, project management and general innovation consultancy business services across various sectors such as Bio Pharma, science, technical, medical industries among others.

Your ability to communicate complex solutions, tailor them to diverse client needs, and build long-term relationships will be critical to your success.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Senior Sales Executive / B2B Sales Development Representative include:

• Initial consultation calls to qualify, assess needs, and present the company’s services to clients

• Meet agreed sales targets

• Maintain accurate CRM records

• Review sales performance and report to management team

• Targeted sales outreach activities to senior stakeholders

• Other business development activities, including partnership relations


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven track record in B2B sales, with consistent achievement of sales targets

• Ability to clearly articulate technical/complex information

• Candidates must be confident speaking with clients within sectors such as medical, pharma and digital technology among others

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience across multiple sectors and in project-based sales

• Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to identify and address client needs effectively

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences

• Demonstrated experience negotiating and closing high-value deals

• Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a hybrid or remote setting

• Technical background preferred

• Academic background (ideal)

• MSc, MBA or PhD qualification (optional)

• Experience with innovation grant funding (preferred)

• Experience in the area of grant funding / bid writing consultancy, project management and general innovation consultancy business services (preferred)
