Summary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented IT Quality and Testing Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products and IT systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing test plans, executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure product quality across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test cases for applications and systems.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, log, and track bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices.
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for product improvement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process.
• Support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for quality assurance automation.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in software testing or QA roles.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, REST Assured).
• Knowledge of manual testing techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• ISTQB or similar testing certification.
• Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Basic scripting/programming knowledge (Python, Java, JavaScript, or Shell scripting).
• Familiarity with databases and ability to write SQL queries.
• Experience testing web, mobile, and API-based applications.
