Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Building Services Consultant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role, starting 1st August, offers a competitive salary of £39,000 per annum and is best suited to candidates with a proven track record in the industry. You will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems across a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead or contribute to the design and integration of MEP systems in building projects.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee the implementation of building services systems.
• Provide expert technical advice and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
• Support the implementation of sustainable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and review technical documentation for client and regulatory approval.

Experience and Qualifications (Essential):
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ professional experience in a building services or MEP consultancy role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage building services design from concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and construction industry standards.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and IES.

Desirable:
• Chartered status or working towards (e.g., CIBSE, IET).
• Experience in smart building systems and sustainability certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED).
• Excellent problem-solving and client-facing communication skills.
