About the school:
This is a supportive Pupil Referral Unit in Wembley catering to students who require alternative education provision. Pupils may present with SEMH, ADHD, and Learning Difficulties, and benefit from small class sizes and tailored support.
About the role:
You will deliver structured and engaging Construction lessons to KS4 students working toward their City & Guilds Level 1 qualification. Planning and adapting lessons to suit diverse learning needs will be essential.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Teach Construction to students with SEN
- Deliver accessible, accredited coursework
- Support pupils' engagement and personal development
- Create a safe and supportive classroom environment
Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- QTS and experience teaching Construction
- City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualification in Construction or a related trade
- Experience with City & Guilds qualifications
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Understanding of SEMH and additional learning needs
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
