CNC Wood Machinist - Stockport
£15 per hour 4-week contract (potential to extend) Full-Time
An established manufacturer of bespoke staircases in Stockport is seeking a skilled CNC Wood Machinist to join their workshop team on an initial 4-week contract, with the possibility of extension based on workload and performance.
Key Responsibilities: CNC Operation: Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision staircase components. Wood Cutting & Preparation: Use saws and other tools to accurately cut materials to specification. Gluing & Laminating: Assemble and bond timber sections to meet structural and design requirements. Work Area Organisation: Keep the workspace tidy and efficient for smooth production flow. What Were Looking For: Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a woodworking. Ability to read and work from technical drawings. A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Whats On Offer: £15 per hour - Higher rates on overtime Hours - Days Monday to Friday Initial 4-week full-time role (with the potential for ongoing work) Opportunity to work with an experienced, supportive team producing bespoke, high-quality products * Please only apply if you've the required experience

- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
