Summary

We are seeking to employ a paediatric Speciality Dentist to cover both inpatient and out-patient clinical care at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital . The post holder will be responsible for the provision of advanced clinical care to children with additional or special needs. This will include providing comprehensive dental care under sedation or general anaesthesia where appropriate under the supervision of Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry

Diagnosis and dental treatment planning for paediatric patients referred by primary and secondary care services.
• Treatment of children with complex medical or dental needs on an outpatient basis.
• Treatment of patients under general anaesthesia with consultant supervision.
• Care of both healthy and medically compromised children.
• Treatment planning and treatment of patients in the Dental Trauma Clinic, Hypodontia Clinic, Joint Orthodontic Paediatric and Paediatric Oral Surgery clinic.
• Management of children with complex dental anomalies/inherited disorders of the oral cavity and dentition.
